Situated on the north side of Bridlington, Swandale Guest House has been completely refurbished. We are just a five minute stroll from the sea front, where you will find a 900 yard long, flat promenade with plenty of seating facing the sea. If not relaxing, taking in the sea air or enjoying the panoramic view of the bay, you can be in the centre of town within 10 minutes easy walking. Take a stroll around our busy harbour, from where you can choose to take a boat trip, book a fishing trip on one of the many charter boats, or take a break in one of the harbour side cafés and watch the world go by.
From the harbour it’s a short walk to the famous Bridlington Spa, where many different shows and entertainment are provided throughout the year. Look for bargains amongst the stalls on Bridlington’s busy town centre Wednesday and Saturday markets or enjoy a round of golf at one of our two 18 hole courses.
There is a comfortable south-facing lounge, complete with a 42” flat screen TV, exclusively for the use of our guests.
Upstairs, over 2 floors, there are 5 contemporary en-suite bedrooms, a single room with an external bathroom and a family suite.
Lots of breakfast choice
There is a modern dining area with individual tables, and we offer an extensive choice of cooked breakfasts, fresh fruit, etc.
If you enjoy bird watching, we have the famous Bempton Cliffs RSPB nature reserve right here on our door step, or travel down the coast to the unique setting of Spurn point. For those who wish to explore, within an hour's drive we have the other seaside resorts of the Yorkshire coast, Filey, Scarborough, and Whitby, with its historic Abbey dominating the harbour – it is the setting used in Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula.
Also in Whitby you will find The North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway. Travel back in time on one of the many steam trains that run from February to November, taking in the magnificent scenery of Heartbeat country on the way. Whatever you choose to do, we will try and make sure your stay at the Swandale Guest House is as comfortable and relaxing as you could wish for.
