From the harbour it’s a short walk to the famous Bridlington Spa, where many different shows and entertainment are provided throughout the year. Look for bargains amongst the stalls on Bridlington’s busy town centre Wednesday and Saturday markets or enjoy a round of golf at one of our two 18 hole courses. If you enjoy bird watching, we have the famous Bempton Cliffs RSPB nature reserve right here on our door step, or travel down the coast to the unique setting of Spurn point. For those who wish to explore, within an hour's drive we have the other seaside resorts of the Yorkshire coast, Filey, Scarborough, and Whitby, with its historic Abbey dominating the harbour – it is the setting used in Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula.

Also in Whitby you will find The North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway. Travel back in time on one of the many steam trains that run from February to November, taking in the magnificent scenery of Heartbeat country on the way. Whatever you choose to do, we will try and make sure your stay at the Swandale Guest House is as comfortable and relaxing as you could wish for.
